Teeth and Train tunnels...

Long time, no post...

Since we last posted here, life's been very busy and certainly not uneventful. Here are a few headlines...

On my first day back at work after the New Year, Isaac fell over at a friend's house and managed to knock one of his front teeth out. Not a lot of fun - but not sure who was the most traumatised, Isaac or Deborah. I rushed to the Dental Hospital from work and then went back to work afterwards with blood on my shirt looking like I'd just come back from roughing someone up... Isaac recovered well although looks considerably more roguish than before!

A few days later was Isaac's 2nd birthday. He had a lot of fun with several of his little friends round for a party. They all got the hang of 'pass the parcel' very well - maybe musical bumps will need to wait until next year... Isaac managed to blow out all his candles in one go and had two bowls of jelly and ice cream. Needless to say, he didn't get to sleep until late that night!

Last weekend, I went on the Highgrove Men's Weekend away in Chepstow. We had a lot of fun, played lots of sport and had a chance to chat and reflect on stuff. I was leading worship and a guy called Steve from 'Pip and Jay' spoke. The Saturday turned out to be glorious weather. Somebody therefore thought it'd be a great idea to have a walk through an disused railway tunnel in the dark! So, we walked one mile to the other side, ate lunch, and then walked the mile back! We got plenty of chance to be in the sunshine though with a trip to Chepstow castle in the afternoon...

See the photos here!.
