Holiday fun...

We got back from holiday today. Here are a few snaps.

The previous post said the weather had been awful so far but the sun shone for all of the rest of our time there which was great! We had a lot of fun days on the beach, in the pool and days out to St Tropez and Monaco.


A little routine we got into was taking Isaac to the shop in the morning and he would insist on holding the French bread all the way back so as to make a start before his Weetabix.


There was a bar that overlooked the swimming complex and playground and it was a great place to go and sit down and take in some sunshine. Isaac also had the chance to run around a bit - here, we're having a quiet drink and storytime in the evening just before Isaac's bedtime.


One of Ed's dreams came true this holiday with a trip to Monte Carlo. We walked the legendary F1 street circuit and got to drive it a couple of times before heading out to the motorway through the tunnels. It's one of the most spectacular and beautiful places we've ever seen. A place with fantastic views and a buzz - although not somewhere we'd ever want to actually live.


Here's the beach we ended up on a few times. The Esterel hills are in the background. The sea was warm and clear and the beach was never too busy.
