Paternity Leave starts here!

Monday represented the first proper day of paternity leave. I spent most of the weekend in the office but it was definitely worth it as now I can look forward to 8 weeks off with no likely interruptions or unfinished work hanging over me! Such a relief! (I've added a little extra leave to my 2 weeks of paternity leave to ensure we get plenty of family time and a chance for us all to adjust to being a family of four).
Here are a few photos from the last day or two:

Isaac is embracing the big brother role by suddenly starting to do more adventurous things! On the day Toby came home from hospital, Isaac said he didn't want to sleep with a nappy on in the night as he was now a big brother. And so, he hasn't! Today, he decided he was old enough to go on a big swing on his own...

Toby is doing well and has been putting back on the weight babies always lose in the first few days. He's fairly settled although loves to sleep all day and eat all night. So, Deborah's pretty tired.

We had a drive up to the Mall to play on the playground as Isaac wanted to take his baby brother in the car with him for the first time...

On Sunday morning, we walked into the living room to see Isaac lifting up his T shirt, grabbing a breast pump and trying to express milk from his belly button... He wouldn't be told that only mummies can do that sort of thing... "I can, I can, my turn, my turn...".

Just ran across your blog while doing the "next blog" thing. My son Dylan tried the same thing with my wifes breast pump, wierd fixation, that! Congrats on the family.
My wife has a blog at bountifulblessings.blogspot.com that might be of interest to you, and good luck with the kids!
