It's my party, I can bounce if I want to...
It was Isaac's birthday party this morning in advance of his 3rd birthday tomorrow.
Much fun was had by all nineteen (yes, 19 - are we mad?) kids with a few of the parents (well, Ed anyway) looking on jealously as the kids went on the bouncy castle.
We played lots of games including musical bumps, musical statues (but really musical bumps again), musical colour coded gym mats (with more than a hint of musical bumps about it), pass the parcel (fixed but fair) and advent calendar bingo (don't ask).
This was followed by lots of clearing up and a return home to cover the living room in wrapping paper.

Dan had a lovely time and had to play his 'pass the parcel' prize game as soon as we got home. Unfortunately, dad was a bit dippy and couldn't understand the instructions on how to play the card game, so made up his own game which dan thought was great! (At what age do they realise that dad is making it up, as he goes along)
The musical statues game was very funny, for first few times, when the music stopped and everyone sat down, still thinking they were playing the last game, despite Deb's desparate attempts to explain the new rules!
Yeah - Isaac got some of these for Christmas and i haven't got a clue of the rules. We've made up some sort of Happy Families/Snap/Top Trumps hybrid...
