It's pants at the zoo

This morning, we went for a visit to the zoo. Nothing out of the ordinary in that, except that it was sunny and it was Isaac's first big trip out in his Thomas the Tank Engine pants rather than a nappy (or 'diaper' for our Canadian readers). It might be hard for some of you to understand this, but it was a proud moment for us.

This whole week has been a potty training week and Isaac has done very well - much better than we were dreading! I'll spare you details of a few minor accidents along the way, but it's going well so far! It's really helped that it was half term this week as Deborah could stay in with Isaac rather than out every day doing the normal weekly stuff.

I've had a week to forget at work and a number of issues this week have meant that it's back to work with a crash rather than a bump after a relaxing holiday. Never mind, I might be able to retire in just 40 years time...
